As much as I enjoy the "gang of 8" looking stupid, this is becoming sad. The frick ups are bad enough, but they compound the frick ups every time they open their mouths. They try to spin, and it just makes it worse.

I have not been able to read everything available about this deal but one thing that baffles me is the statements from the WH that, "we did not nrgotiate with terrorists."
So, has there been an explanation of this? Who did they negotiate with? The guy from Deal or No Deal?
As for Kerry, if he says they won't return to combat, we better be tracking them right now with some drones, because they are going to cost us lives. I have absolutely NO doubt about that.

The Qatari government was the middleman so techniclly we negotiated with them and then they talked to the Taliban.
