Wapo and especially the NYT have gone with sob stories about people hurt by the cuts. The formula goes like this:
Tell me exactly what cuts took place that caused these woes.

Oppression and not coddling are two separate things altogether. But you may have already known that.

Quite a contrast your use of bible proverbs compared to your avatar and sig pic.

I left those editions at Starbucks but working from memory the electric bill is paid by a state level non profit that gets money from a larger federal agency that Trump has cut.
Meals of Wheels does the same thing. They're not directly cut by Trump but they claim they get money from other agencies that are being cut by Trump so their money will dry up and old people will starve.
There was a huge feature in Sat's NYT about some guy from Eastern Europe who 'knows all about walls.' He escaped from the iron curtain and immigrated to the US where he has been working on his art since the 80s. He has fallen on hard times lately (I guess people don't like his art) but he's been surviving on grants from the NEA. Now, he doesn't know what he's going to do.

Cloward Piven is the strategy that Obama applied to the economy when he doubled it in 8 years. He destroyed Capitalism...which is what all slimy anti American communists want. He did it out in the open...not hiding a bit of what he was doing, using his re energized class warfare, setting race relations back 50 years, smothering peoples lives with regulations, ginning up and creating whole new classes of aggrieved "victims, etc.

Damn Dale. You nailed it. Some of your posts are loony but this is correct.
Record debt, record number on food stamps, Obamacare, record number on UE...
List goes on and on.

Thanks EZ..some of my post aren't as loony as they may seem...others are loony on purpose.

Pele are stupid and make stupid mistakes and it is up to the rest of us to help them out.

How? Here's a good example. Your post.
How can we help you realize how gullible it is to think that?

Actually, if her husband died and she has kids, she should be getting a nice check from Social Security.
I do find it interesting that the MSM largely ignored or denied stories about working families who were thrown off their insurance by the ACA. Or stories about cancer patients who were denied access to specialists. You saw those in the local news but not in national outlets.

They explain how she used to work at the Widget factory until it laid off workers. Then her husband up and died and left her with 3 kids.
Did you not read what you wrote, or are you unable to comprehend it?
Or did you just disregard it, because it didn't fit your tried-and-true narrative.

They don't ask the question because it's inherently shallow and short sighted.
People get sick, people take care or other people/family, people have mental disabilities, people got arrested for a non violent drug offense and now can't get a decent job to cover the bills.
You're equating someone needing assistance to pay a bill because their husband died and they had three children as a "stupid mistake"?
Many things can attribute as to why someone couldn't afford the electric bill. That's why no one asks your asinine question.
Im not saying the media doesn't play it up, but pretending like no one really should ever need/deserves help or assistance in times of hardship is just being blind to reality.
If Trump had any interest in truly reducing govt. Dependents/spending he would be coming up with replacement programs to help these people get off the support asap. Instead he just makes arbitrary cuts which will force people to rely on the govt. even longer.
You can't just cut programs people depend on without any replacement solutions and expect to MAGA.

Cut programs and you'll find millions of people suddenly having the desire to work

yeah that's not how it works.
1) there must be enough jobs available for those people's skills.
2) if they don't have skills there will be fewer govt programs to help them learn new skills.
3) some people aren't actually able to work.

There are. We're having to import people to do that work now

Your tax dollar provides education and training for these people

3) some people aren't actually able to work.
A very small minority.
