The stories of woe have begun in print media

Over the last 3 days since the Trump budget came out USA, Wapo and especially the NYT have gone with sob stories about people hurt by the cuts. The formula goes like this:
They find a 50 year old white person in small town America who voted for Trump.
They explain how she used to work at the Widget factory until it laid off workers. Then her husband up and died and left her with 3 kids. She couldn't pay the electric bill until she was saved by:
"America Helps Poor People" Non profit... funded by a govt agency that Trump has eliminated. She hopes that he comes around to see that he's destroying the lives of real people. It's very sad.
The one question they never ask is: "If you're 50 and you can't afford the electric bill, what kind of stupid mistakes have you made since HS?"

just like liberals flipping out that Trump is "abusing" his executive power, this is just more evidence of how government is too big and why expansion is created with this moral argument in mind (as a defense if that expansion is threatened in the future). this should be a learning opportunity but it won't be

No time for responsibility
Also if she never worked in her life she should be well rested. Go greet people at walmart

Weaponized Empathy
Just a more sophisticated version of "pushing granny off the cliff".
Just a more sophisticated version of "pushing granny off the cliff".
quote:
Weaponized Empathy is everywhere. Healthcare policy is not judged on how efficient it is, or the quality of care provided, or even the cost of that care. It is judged solely on how it helps the poor. If it cost a million dollars per person, per year, but the poor didn’t have to pay the bill, Progressives would deem it great success. Non-Progressives would be pointing out that it’s expensive, the quality of the product was poor, and it was bankrupting the country. The response from the Progressives would be simple. They would pull out a picture of a child on Obamacare, or whatever government program they were promoting.
The picture would be carefully staged for maximum empathy. Perhaps the child would be crying, his face down, covered in carefully-enhanced sores. Maybe photoshop in a little blood and grime. Turn down the lighting a little, just so.
Now, if you oppose Obamacare, you want this poor child to die of plague.

If she's 50 she and her kids should be old enough to get off their lazy asses and go work.

Is this a play on "woe"? Or like "whoa, you done messed up your life"?

No such thing as a free lunch.

It is all BS propaganda. They fail to report on the family Van Jones interviewed in Ohio. They were diehard democrats voting for Trump. Their job losses resulted in them having to hunt deer to put food on the table, and they grew tired of the gun grabbing mantra of the democrats.
These people who have been ignored are sick to death of the democrats putting terrorists above the American people; under the guise of muslims and spirit cooking ruling over all as protected; as you are called a bigot racist. The jig is up.
They are not worried about the national endowment of the arts, or some endangered field mouse in Pelosi's district-- not getting pumped with wasted money; as they struggle to put food on the table.
They are the working class and backbone of this country. The democrats will never GET IT. They are pimping out their same divisive race-baiting, cultural warfare SJW BS in their butthurt loss. They lost the party when they kicked out bluedog dems. They are void of moderacy.

It's so simple isn't it? Yet... it is a concept that the democrats don't seem to practice; because their scheme is quite the opposite in The Cloward–Piven strategy.

6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

And I'll bet no offer from the interviewer to open his wallet and personally help out with a little cash donation.
More NIMBY as well as Weaponized Empathy. All too willing to open every else wallet/bank account, just not their own. And then to start reports on the high taxation in USA also, along with the National Debt, States Budget Issues..... Let's help everyone across the globe with unicorn farts and rainbows.
