quote:
Not counties, but congressional districts, to keep the balance of population for each EV. Then the extra two for each state will go to one candidate if they get over 55% PV in the state, but split between the two if they don't.
This is a horrible idea considering the amount of politics that goes into drawing and redrawing congressional districts. A party's influence would be more dependent on how effective they are at controlling congressional district's boundaries than anything else.

Los Angeles county has 10 million people. Your idea makes Podunk Arkansas equal to kings county ny, with two million people. Stop.

I didn't vote. But I'm in Texas, so my vote wasn't going to be meaningful. If things change, and my vote really does matter, yea, I'm in line to vote that morning before work starts. But personally, I like my superstition, that if I don't vote the right side wins .
But in the places that mattered; Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, the Dems lost.
But wait, outside of Maine and Nebraska, electoral votes are a "Winner Take All" Basis. This is good news. May I request that California become the first of these states to remove WTA from their votes?

Whether Trump is for against the electoral college is irrelevant. He played the game by the rules given to him.
To think their campaigns would be the same if they were trying to win the popular vote is ridiculously short-sighted.
Trump didn't even bother with California because he knew there was no chance. If he actually put in effort to take a tiny percentage of those votes he could've won the popular vote.
