I haven't watched in years BECAUSE it is political. I am glad Trump has the stones to speak his mind and I hope he continues.

Many of you still do not get it. "Acting Presidential" gets you NOTHING but beaten. In elections and otherwise. Look no further than W Bush and see where it got him. Mitt Romney and John Mc Cain too.

We do not need a gentleman, we need a son of a bitch that will get in there and fight the Left. I am hoping we just elected one.

The post-election episode's first skit was a pretty good sendup of the bubbled hipsters. Chappelle and Rock were cracking up at the what most would think is ridiculous but the bubble crowd thought was real life.

Sorry, but that is kinda funny. I used to love that show. They used to skewer everyone. Then they became a weapon for the liberal cause. It's really a sad shadow of what it was.

The continuing train wreck became hard to watch more than a decade ago. They forgot the things that made them great...and relevant.

It really is a hollow shell when they had an outright funeral last week for Hillary Clinton. That is SNL's low point without question. There is nothing funnier on the planet than a corrupt bitch who has swindled her way to the top being beaten for Presidency by an orange game show host. This election has been America's ultimate punchline, and if you can't derive humor from that, you are intellectually bankrupt.

I just can't imagine that skit going down with John Belushi or Norm Macdonald being members of the cast. They would have crashed the skit due to comedic integrity.

Oh, get over yourself. It was funny and self deprecating. You sound as out of touch as you claim everyone on the left is.

And I MAGA'd proudly in a liberal bastion, so don't play the "melt" card.

Oh, please. That showed SNL was out of touch having a literal funeral for Hillary's campaign. Most the country, while shocked, found it hilarious that Hillary Clinton was such a horrible candidate that she was able to lose to President Pussy Grabber. There was so much potential for what they could have done, but instead they act as if the Empire State Building were taken down by hijackers. There's nothing funny about that sketch,

If they were going to have a mourning and that's it, just start it off with Chapelle's monologue. Seriously, why not at least have a sketch where Obama and Trump met for the first time, with Chapelle portraying Obama? There was so much gold to go off of that week, but no they simply start it off acting like the world has come to an end.
