I don't side with anyone to be honest. I couldn't give two fricks about Syria. I just can't figure out what Assad's motivation for using chemical weapons would be. There's just no good outcome there.

In effect, our troops were then fighting alongside our Kurdish allies against our NATO Turkish allies. It's so awesome.

To make matters even more complicated, our government considers the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) a terrorist organization.

I think you underestimate how large the rift between Sunni and Shiite Islam is.

My guess is that most posters here will side with the Russians.

Every religious minority group in Syria supports the Assad regime for a reason. Assad is an Alawite Shia Muslim. They are a religious minority and require cooperation from the country's large Christian, Sufi and Druz populations. If McCain and the neoconservatives have their way and Assad was deposed, ISIS or Jabat Al-Nusra would wipe out these religious minorities without blinking. Anyone who thinks the region is more stable with Assad gone has no comprehension of the political realities in the cauldron that is Syria.

It's cowardly of you to come on this board and present yourself as one of the brightest intellects when you refuse to answer any questioning of your brilliant policy positions.

It's cowardly of you to come on this board and present your brilliant policy view but then run and hide when somebody asks you a question about your brilliant policy view.
