Of course not. His goal is for us to be there for 50 years so the defense contractors and deep state all make trillions. It's sick to see the left so eager to go to war under the bs guise of humanitarianism.

Given that despite what the left thinks conservatives believe, Russia is still completely untrustworthy..........it is fricking sad that on Syria, they are no less trustworthy than the people who started the fricking war(The U.S.)

In fact, in general, it's sad that frankly, no, I don't trust thinks coming out of D.C. any more than I trust things coming out of Moscow.

For those that have reading comprehension issues..........that is NOT an endorsement of Moscow.

Sorely disappointed this wasn't a link to the Lions of Rojava facebook page

That would have been better, but since we've now sent some Marines in, this is what came to mind.

If I were single, I would have considered joining the Lions. It would have been a hell of a lot more meaningful service than what I did for a year in that country in the Army.

That is a whole bunch of emotion begging for Iraq 2.0

Why are you so willing to have Americans die for the sake of people that will still want us dead after we free them?

Not a clue, but why would Assad do it? Who's winning? Cause this sounds like a desperate attempt to play some psych ops...

I don't know, maybe because he's massacred his own people before, and his father before him massacred his own people, and...

Why wouldn't he do it? Why are we suggesting a dude like Assad needs some rational basis for slaughtering people?

Under what authority granted by the United Nations?

Are you suggesting that the President of the USA can make unilateral decisions with regard to toppling the leadership of any nation in the world that POTUS decides he/she doesn't like at any particular time?

Let's put the questions to you.

Under what UN authority does POTUS take action to unseat Assad? Or does he have unilateral authority to act with regard to unseating the leadership of any nation he doesn't like?

Can we put you on record that you want to send battalions and brigades of US ground troops to Syria to topple Assad?

Finally, are you in favor of ground troops in Syria despite the fact that the USA has no SOFA agreement there?

What do you propose as a solution to this latest in a never ending stream of atrocities in the middle east, beyond your PhD-level finger-pointing?

Why do we need to side with anyone on this? Here is an idea, we just watch from the sideline on this one.
