Apparently we are headed toward our first WWE President folks!

The Wrap.com

This is playing out like the movie Idiocracy.

If you would have told me when I was 10 years old that Hulk Hogan or Macho Man was a viable Presidential candidate I would have done a suplex off of the top rope in happiness. Now, not so much.

I'd like to see a Donald Trump v. Kim Kardashian Presidential debate myself.

Dwayne Johnson showed more compassion, humbleness, and character than most anyone I've ever met when he came here to film. He was constantly at our hospitals with the children when he got free time, and I literally heard 0 bad things about him and that's hard to do in a <500k person city. Only how great and caring of a person he is. I can't comment on his political opinions but he seems to be a really really great guy.

I like the Rock. I do not like the Rock as president.

On a serious note I think he could be a success on a more local political level, but not as POTUS.

I get that impression as well. He is also notoriously a hard worker.

Similar things were said about Trump after the flood here in Baton Rouge.

In all seriousness, if The Rock wants to be President he should run for Governor of Florida first. I think that's where he lives.

This Presidency is going to kill the idea that we need someone who isn't a politician to be President. You do have to understand how to make the levers of government work, and Trump doesn't. It's not that a celebrity could never be President again, but you don't let your five year old hop on a bike without training wheels first.

Dwayne Johnson is a semi conservative Republican, if he ever got involved in politics, the Democrats and MSM would destroy him and assassinate his character at every turn. At a MINIMUM 25 women would come forward claiming he gave them the People's Penis without their consent.

I still like Rubio and Cruz. I'm holding out hope that one of them or Nikki Haley is President in the future. Reagan ran in the 1968 and 1976 GOP primaries and lost, so it wouldn't be unprecedented.

I thought The Rock was a republican he'd have to change parties to run against TRUMP.

Doesn't mean he would be really really great at governing.

I think he lives in/or near Miami. If ran for mayor of Miami and made a difference there, which I think he could, he could then make a serious run at Governor.

It would be entertaining.

If nothing else it reinforces the idea that our politics is much closer to WWE than UFC.
