James Rickards just told Bannon this.

He said the Repo Act authored by republicans makes it nearly impossible for Trump to end the war in Ukraine.

The provisions sunset in 5 years.

Hopefully Russia ends it before then. But I'm beginning to think the Russians are using the war in Ukraine like the cold war arms race. It was then that we basically bankrupted the Soviets.

They are returning the favor.

How can Russia prolong it if the male Ukrainian population looks like Paraguay after losing the Paraguayan War in the mid-1800s?

Ukraine is not Afghanistan where the geography is conducive to a guerilla war.

But they arent engaging in a cold war. This is costing the Russian people a lot more than its its costing folks in the west in both lives and money. Consider Russia's GDP vs how much they've spent compared to Western nations and what they have contributed Ukraine.

Why would they want to do this?

This is impossible to know. The western media does such a shite job of reporting on this war. Are we even sure bullets are still flying?

Trump will open up oil and gas production, pipelines and exports.

This will tank the Russian economy and greatly diminish their ability to wage war.

Biden guaranteed this war by impacting US production. I’m sure he is being compensated for it.

All this, but this congress is trying like hell to make sure this war continues.

I don't think Putin's initial intention was to overtake all if Ukraine. He only wanted to secure the areas where Russia speaking people had been persecuted. As the US continues to fund the war, I believe Putin will continue to push past his original plans. The sooner there are peace negotiations, the sooner Russias advance stops and Ukrainians stop dying.
The longer America continues making this war possible, the more Ukrainians die and less land will be available to remain Ukraine.

Russians dont care about human losses. Look at WW2 They sent their troops into a meat grinder, many without a firearm. They were told to pickup a firearm from a deceased troop and continue the fight.

They are a different breed.

This sounds like an excuse for when Trump doesn't end that war in 24 or 48 hours or whatever he claimed.

So the failed attack on Hostomel Airfield and the miles long convoy of supplies all along the main highway into Kyiv in the beginning of the war was just a distraction? If they could've taken it..they would have and marched on Kyiv.

I guess I 'm failing to see your point ..... how extending the time of the war intentionally by Putin is costing the western nations that support Ukraine more than its costing Russia. Its an interesting point....Im just not seeing it.

Unless there is some sort of associated PPP relativity, you're Thumpin the wrong tree
