The real reason Republican and Democratic politicians are uniting behind closed doors

Overlooked in the daily dog and pony media show is the driving force behind it all: the selection of a nonpolitician to our nation's highest office. Trump's agenda will not be allowed to be implemented, because if it is, it will result in other nonpoliticians having successful runs at the presidency in future elections. If nothing else, I hope he is able to set term limits on Congressional terms. If our nation's highest office has a limit on the maximum number of terms that can be served, why shouldn't Congress also have the same stipulations? A question I will toss out to the board; can President Trump issue Congressional term limits by executive order? Congress itself would never allow it to be passed otherwise.

I think you are correct to a degree. The politicians on both sides are mainly concerned with protecting their own status. They do not care at all for us plebeians. All we are is a giant piggy bank for them to steal from. A non-politician being elected is a threat to them, so they are circling the wagons.
Their main goal is to keep the population fighting amongst themselves so they can continue to rob us blind. As long as half the country continues to try to turn America into a socialist welfare society and go against the intentions of the Founders, the politicians will have carte blanche to screw us. The MSM is doing their part to foment discord & brainwash the willing masses, as well.

Trump has pulled back the curtain on the wizard and America can now see what a sham politicians are. They were quite comfortable in carrying on their WWF like squabbles in public to appear as enemies with different agendas, but Trump has revealed to all who have eyes that they are all on the same team and that teams only concern is it's own welfare and livelihood.

All of them eat from the same through and are told what to do by their donors not the voters. You think legislation comes from the legislators? Nope it comes from lawyers and cpa's from donors to ensure taxpayer funded revenue comes to them for the next 10-20 years. You can install all term limits you want the next puppet will be installed. To truly change Congress you have to get the donors out.

Trust in the press and government are at all time lows across the board. Nobody has faith in our government anymore.

Your assessment is correct in regards to DC collusion.
Trump wasn't vetted by the Wash. establishment so he will not be allowed to be successful.
