Breaking on TV: there was an earthquake on the US Eastern Seaboard. What’s weird is how many earthquakes occur around the world now that all happen to be 4.8 - 4.9. What/who do you think is causing these eerily similar quakes?

The National Earthquake Information Center (U.S.) reports 12,000-14,000 earthquakes a year around the world, or 35 a day. Throughout the world, there are one "great" (magnitude 8.0 or more), 18 "major" (7.0-7.9), 120 "large" (6.0-6.9) and 1,000 "moderate" (5.0-5.9) earthquakes in an average year.

Earthquakes, eclipses, locusts, red cows.

It is unusual to get one in that area.

HOWEVER

A 4.5 doesn’t even cause people to break their stride on the west coast.

Tokyo had several following the Taiwan quake ....

Every day event in Tokyo. We reached a point where, we would wake up, reach out and hold on to table lamp until the quake stopped.

Where you going to run to?
