The politics of minimum wage and having children

I've noticed that many of you have stated if somyeone is not financially stable, they should not have kids.
While in theory this makes sense, it begets the question "how much $ is enough for kids". I'm middle class and I still don't have kids because I'm worried about finances.
For example, if everyone on minimum wage or slightly higher don't make enough, do you make a law to punish them.
If only the upper middle and higher classes have kids, wouldn't that inevitably lead to economic destabilization by not having enough workers.
And if you make it harder on workers who have kids and still keep funding welfare babies, wouldn't that blow up in the GOP face later (as many of them will likely be Democrats)
TLDR. Is there a political answer in regards to the appropriate amount of money needed before having children.

No, because automation is eventually going to take over all low IQ/wage jobs.

With that attitude, you may never convince yourself that you are ready.
A stable job with money to afford (and maintain) a decent home in a decent school district should be enough to get started. Most people want their kids to have a better shot than they had.

Other than education, no
Limiting benefits for more children would also help, but that isn't going to happen, so...

If you need government assistance to help raise your kids, you shouldn't have them.
It's really that simple.
I understand shite goes wrong and you need temporary assistance, but if you're in section 8 housing and want to have kids, you're an idiot.

Yes. No government assistance for people who are unable to financially support themselves regardless of their level of income.

People who are making at or near minimum wage and have children deserve neither sympathy nor extra benefits from the government.
The sooner this government stops encouraging poor choices the better.

People should be having as many kids as they want. The issue I have is when they are forced to go on welfare for long periods of time (or permanently) because of it.
I know several families that have decided that having many children is more important than having lots of stuff. They are fine with having the bare minimum (and struggling at that sometimes) in order to have and raise children. They are self-sufficient, work hard, and don't leech off of the government through welfare entitlements, so I encourage them in their efforts.
The problem we see is that people don't want to sacrifice their lifestyles because of children, so they take welfare to subsidize their lifestyles. I cannot get behind that.

If you're not financially stable, having kids is very smart. You get paid more money for every kid you have.

NO, you don't make a law, you expect them to actually be responsible human beings and have children they can support.

Destabilization in this manner is caused by having more net producers than consumers of the social safety net. It can be the aging population, or it can be the younger welfare population. Either way, increasing the number of non-producers (relative to the number of producers) is what eventually leads to economic ruin.

1. It is possible to have a kid with one parent making minimum wage. But it requires a lot of thrift and sacrifice.
2. If only middle and upper class people had kids there would be an increase in IQs since earning and IQ are correlated.
3. If you can't afford a child don't get a dog. I hate seeing a dog owned by poor people. Dogs need nice surroundings.....

If the public has to support your family, you can't afford them
