I’m sorry but the majority of this country has completely disrespected law enforcement for over 2 years now.
I don’t sympathize with the crowd who demands we “defund police” and then also demand these same officers run into a firefight. Then they rush to judgement before the facts are in.

If we need to look at changing protocol, I’m all for that.
Absent a clear case of cowardice, it looks to me the officers were following regulations based on information they knew about the shooting at the time (waiting for backup, being required to call the SWAT Team before they could proceed)
These layers of protocol are probably in existence to keep the department from getting sued by someone claiming police brutality.

Nah those guys act all big and badass when 6 of them pull up on the side of the road to harass and intimidate you after running a stop sign but they turn into massive pussies when a POS is shooting some children. They can frick right off with the media

Well, when you show up at a school that your child attends and there is an active shooter inside and the police are not going in and also preventing you as a parent from going in to the point of threating you with being tased then there is a just cause for turning on those law enforcement officers.
There was one person that went in and he was a border patrol agent.

I'm sure they do and I'm not passing judgement on the officers. Situations like this are easy to pick apart after the fact but are absolute chaos in the moment and humans are going to make mistakes in them. It does look like the procedures followed weren't effective, which should be the focus instead of playing the blame game on people thrust into an impossible situation.

There is a video of officers with tasers out while it looks like one parent is being pinned down on the ground. They stood outside while kids were being executed. If you wont save the kids, turn your fricking badge in.

They probably hesitated to determine if the perp was black or not. Cant be killin no black kid these days without losing your job and facing indictment.
