I think a lot of gay people are waking up to how bad it is to hitch trans and pedos to their movement and also a lot of gay people finally see Dems are moving too far left too fast.
I truly believe many of them just want to seen as normal and be left alone.

They aren’t. It isn’t. But quietly go about your business and quit defining yourself exclusively by their kink and no body should give them any problems.

Maybe for some. There are more "conservative" (as much as a gay person can be conservative) gays now than you probably realize. Again, many of them just want to be out and aren't down with the sick shite coming from progressives that keep pushing crap further and further. They are also smart enough to know the blowback it will eventually cause for everyone associated and that is why they want to distance themselves.

The folks running these groups always go too far.

The T never belonged with the LGB. While one is who you are sexually attracted to, the T is....well something else entirely. And the Q+ I can't wrap my brain around on what it is even supposed to be
