Ive been out of pocket lately and so not really following any of this very closely, but I sure am enjoying the melts.

So am I. Thinking removing statues will solve problems is the epitome of melting.

What I want to know is, what is feeding this frenzy/hysteria? Who are all these people, and how do they have time to do this? And how are they so blind to the fact that just by living in this country they are more privileged than the majority of this world? Boggles my mind.

Is there any way the SCOTUS can do something to shut this down? An act of Congress (good luck!) an executive order?

How to SJW:

1) Scream that the statues are racist and need to come down
2) Plug ears with fingers
3) Run away and ignore what happens next

Emotions trump facts for these people, they don't care.

It was a couple of hundred people in October that did it.

Lots of communities have been on the fence about these memorials already and now with all the guns present at these rallies and the bad blood building up, nobody wants neo-nazis and counter-protesters showing up to tear up their town.

These people will be trying to set fire to plantation homes in the near future.

Yep. Arlington Antebellum in Birmingham needs to go.

They want destruction.
Unfortunately for them, the destruction they want may not be the destruction they get. It may, however, be the destruction they deserve.

bullshite

Most normal people never gave these statues a thought until the left wandered into the idea of getting mileage out of them

Here's one from 3 weeks ago. New Orleans too, of course. It's accelerating now.

The Confederate statue that stood next to the Red Brick Courthouse in Rockville for more than 100 years was removed Saturday and is set to be installed in a more private location later this week. The 13-ton statue will be installed near White’s Ferry, the privately run ferry in Dickerson that connects Montgomery County across the Potomac River with Leesburg, Virginia, according to county officials.

Rockville, Maryland, July 25.
