Ok, that was easy.

Spending has outpaced collections every month this calendar year except January & April. We're $313 billion in the hole to date.

Also, cash on hand has dropped by almost double the amount the debt outstanding figure.

cash on hand, january 20th: $382 billion
cash on hand, july 19th: $189 billion

Many times i've seen that debt "reduction" figure touted here since the inauguration- it's fake news.

monthly spending/collections found here
cash on hand found here

Just clicking on your links, it appears those "spending" numbers are based on the approved budget. They do not indicate actual spending.

There have been several instances since Trump took office of his people decidedly not spending money they have been allocated. I don't think your numbers actually paint the picture you are claiming.

Having said that, I don't have a clue if debt has gone up or down and I doubt that can be determined right now.

The Lib melting numbers are at record highs, both in terms of frequency and longevity.

It isn't a melt when only 38% approve of the job he's doing.

How much money do you think has been saved, based on your read of these numerous anecdotes? And more to the point, how do you explain the cash on hand reduction? Can you paint a different picture, with something more convincing than that debt figure?

I don't know. That is the point. You don't know either. The calculation you claimed was so easy you did with numbers that are not the real numbers.

What was easy was pointing out that the debt reduction was clear bullshite.

I do know that non-defense discretionary spending for an entire year is less than double that $313 billion half-year hole. Without shutting down agencies, it's not even possible to break even, let alone reduce the debt by doing what you're suggesting.

It was higher than that when he was elected by roughly 10-12%, and he's done nothing to convince independents or democrats to vote for him.

Nobody is going to give a shite about a push poll from now in 16 months.

Now tell us which numbers would be better under the bitch. More illegals?

Maybe we would have a new great national slogan!

You have yet to show this. The numbers that you used to "point it out" were fabricated, not real.

I think you have consumed so much fake news you think that how things are supposed to be done.

EDIT: and since your comprehension sucks, I made no claims about the debt reduction being accurate. I have clearly said I don't think that is knowable right now.

ETA since you ETA'd:

You don't think we can know whether the debt has been reduced during Trump despite 313 billion in excess authorized spending + ~200 in cash on hand reduction over the same time frame?

lol, just lol

Interesting but not surprising. That is what happens when you place a non politician in office that realizes that you can cut a shite ton of waste out of the government and still function.

Who says he'll be running against Hillary next time? That was the one candidate he could beat.
