The h*ll it is. Whole aisles of shopping malls across the land are shuttering their doors because the stores can't compete in today's economy. Even major banks like Wells Fargo are having to close hundreds of branches.

Yet unemployment continues to drop. Amazing!

Obama was there for 8 years, and ran our National debt up more than any other President. We don't want him anywhere near the White House. Ever.

Honestly Wells Fargo is closing branches at least in part because they're a poorly run bank.

Once again, wrong. That would be the result of Boehner, Ryan, and your Republican Congress. They have the sole constitutional power to raise revenue and allocate spending

And be honest. Call it raising taxes. Don't run around the edges.

Also, it isn't a tax revenue problem. It's a SPENDING problem

Oh the irony of your calling others wrong...

Obama/Pelosi/Reid pushed through the stimulus (the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009) which added around a trillion of extra deficit spending annually. From there they passed only Continuing Resolutions and blocked every attempt at passing an actual budget for years.

FY.......Deficit Spending
2008......-458,553 <------GWB's last year
2009....-1,412,688 <------Dems control Congress and WH
2010....-1,294,373 <------Dems still control WH and Senate
2011....-1,299,590 <------Dems still control WH and Senate
2012....-1,086,963 <------Dems still control WH and Senate
2013......-679,544 <------Dems lose Senate, control WH

See a pattern?

I ain't going to say that it is booming, but my business is better than 1 year ago. At the same time, I have made some adjustments, and am getting ready for new Federal Motor Carrier Regulations, that are supposed to happen in December.
I think that common sense will prevail, and these changes will be delayed,if not, look for major shortages of certain items across the country, especially beer.

One SEC state is ranked in the top 35(Florida ranked 24). It also has 6 of the bottom 9 which includes the bottom four.

The economy in blue states seem to be going up while southern red states are staying at the bottom (Trumps largest base).

And ObamaCare and Stimulus had nothing to do with it, right? For some strange reason, I thought it was the President who presents a budget.

So a President has nothing to do with deficits? Is that what you are saying? Obama was the first President to be in a war during his entire administration, and you don't think that had anything to do with it?

And our GDP never rose above 3%. First President thta has ever happened to, too. Obama was a real financial wiz, alright.

So was it tanking up until the point Trump was inaugurated?

The Dow was 17,400 the Friday before the election. It's at 21,000 now. That's 3,600 point rise and Trump hasn't even enacted his policies yet. He might talk off the cuff and it might hurt your softy feelings, but investors like what is coming and the market shows it. May had the biggest job growth in 44 years!
But let me guess your comeback: After 7 and a half years, all of a sudden when the Democratic party becomes totally irrelevant, then Obama''s policies really start to come to fruition?!?!

the weakest recovery since the Depression, with an unprecendented run of cheap money and huge deficits.

Where the frick did all that money go?

WRONG... GOP Congress opposing Obama spending = govt shut down = left wing media blaming it on GOP = Dems elected forever. The spending was all Obama initiatives.
