Ever notice when republicans stay home it cause they are mad at the direction of the party but when democrats stay home its cause they are too lazy to care.

Can't possibly be that democrats stayed home cause they are unhappy with the direction of their party, can it?

I think most dem voters aren't happy with the current state of the country but for different reasons. Many of them want more gov and are pissed because Obama hasn't been progressive enough. I don't think a significant portion of dems are ready to embrace the right.

Also, many women are temporarily flipping but too many still favor gov solutions for things like the phony pay gap, affordable childcare, etc.

If the right misses another opportunity to prove to women voters that our ideas are good for them and will allow them to address their concerns without gov interference then I'm done talking to women voters on their behalf.

What was the voter turnout for both parties? Average? Nominal? High?

Sometimes Republicans miss voting because they can't get off work soon enough. That's not an issue with the vast majority of Democrats since so few of them have a job or career of any kind.

Yeah that's why they don't have the elections on the weekend, to make it harder on working people.

In Louisiana the polls are open from 6 AM to 8 PM, not to mention the opportunities for early voting.

I'm sure the other states have a similar setup, give or take an hour on either side so the theory is looking a bit thin.

That assumes a basic level of information that doesn't exist. One would need a baseline from which to be satisfied or dissatisfied.
