The Democratic Party is doing a great job at continuing to alienate white voters

It appears they've learned nothing from this election. Trump winning was "whitelash", Trump and his supporters are racist, Xenophobic, misogynistic, and homophobic. Steve Bannon is a "white nationalist who hates Jews". If this keeps up, Trump may not even need to campaign for reelection. They've completely lost touch with working class people and have become utterly unhinged.

If the Democratic party fails, something will replace it. The founders crafted a system, perhaps unintentionally, that favors two parties. Less than a month ago, there were people, including some on this board, predicting the demise of the GOP.

They already had their Trump. It was Obama.
They need to figure out what message they want to run with that can counter Trump because "White people are racist and should die" doesn't work with demographics as is, especially if Trump starts eating into their numbers by creating jobs for minorities.

The Democrats have to figure out who the hell they really are. They sold their souls to so many far left, progressive, socialist, SJW, and LBT(hell I can't remember how many damn initials there are now) that they completely lost touch with middle America. Most of their constituency lives in bizzaro world.
You do realize that the candidate who should have and almost won the DNC nomination was a socialist? They booed during the prayer at the DNC. They didn't have any American flags up until the second day. They are so far left that they don't have a chance right now.
