UCLA Med School has been in the news recently for promoting ideology about "Indigenous womxn," "two-spirits," and "structural racism." A guest speaker praised and two residents championed "revolutionary suicide."

Historically, people in “black studies” or similar majors were ones who couldn’t hack it in a real discipline and were shunted over to give them a degree in useless rather than flunking them out.
This appears to be the downstream effects of that stupidity.

Everyone gets hung up on the plagiarism, but the bigger issue is that our society pretends that this is a legitimate academic discipline.
Even if her "academic work" was original, it's the equivalent of having a PhD in astrology.
