Barack Obama's presidency is a reflection of the country as a whole. Electing someone this pitiful tells us more about ourselves than about him.

Ms. Peggy is late to the party. She was one of the ruling class elites early on who said give him a chance, and he might be good for America.
I love how these know it alls don't know shite until it hits them in the face.

I think, like Peggy Noonan points out, that he wants the benefits of being President, not the responsibility. He is far from a deep thinker, and only knows how to stir up people, not lead them. He's not interested in anything that runs counter to his deeply held beliefs, and has no idea what compromise is nor how to achieve it.

This and I think he just lazy.

It's a Baby Boomer looking at a Gen X President. Those two generations, the times in which each grew up, are like night and day. Oil and water. They see things very differently. Peggy Noonan has always been a hugely annoying drama queen.

President Lincoln of course had been badly abused in his time. Now his greatness is universally acknowledged.

Wrong...bold is why...Obama doesn't play that! Now if Noonan was a dude, you might be on to something!

Edit: Joan Rivers agrees!

The US electorate deserves this. They earned it by voting this Democrat into office.

Maybe we will learn a good life lesson from this experience.

Obama is like many an Ideologue; the essence of their life is expressed in THEIR belief, and action. If the consequences of their (his) belief/actions affect the World negatively...well...he tried to lead. They couldn't perform. For whatever reason. He remains the legend...in his own mind. Like all the other famous celebrities that he hangs with. "You can tell a tree by the fruit that it bears" (Biblical).

Bottom line. It's all about him. Like he told that admiring college groupie when she told him that she loved him...."thank you".

Mud on the evolutionary wall. Live and learn.
