That's cheap even with increase cost.

My families insurance went up from 2010 to 2014. It is now cheaper than it was in 2010.

It dropped from over $1600 a month to around $1150 this year.

Company shops around and we have changed companies every year since 2012. Deductibles are about the same except for ER visits.

My dad was pretty moderate until he (self-employed) was forced into an Obamacare plan at 6x his previous premium.

What was their leverage once you dropped below 50 employees? Didn't that create an exemption from the requirement.

It is still absurd that for the first time in the history of this country we are required to purchase a product simply for existing.

Not at all really, so far. I have Tricare. Hopefully it doesn't screw that up.

Unfortunately I am giving less to 'the least of these' and spending considerably less with two of my favorite businesses: a Korean Bbq and My local dry cleaner.
$1800 a month will do that, though.

I haven't really noticed much of a difference. Co-pay has gone up a little bit.

The ACA hasn't been ideal and needs to be reworked, but I do believe in the idea behind it, affordable care. I don't mind paying a bit more if it means someone that's less fortunate can get the care they need and not be in debt for years.
