Let's say Trump gets his tax plan implemented, if you're a wealthy or upper middle class loyal Dim/Prog are you telling the federal government to keep your tax savings in protest over the tax cut for the wealthy or do you keep the tax savings?

This will be a particularly troublesome issue for the Hollywood types, Enemedia darlings, professional athletes, Dim/Prog Swamp Dwellers, etc. We know the aforementioned are seriously concerned about the rich not paying their fair share.

Y'all really should remit the tax savings under Trump's tax plan back to the government, it would show all Americans you're not going to be a part of fleecing the middle class and poor, it's simply the right thing to do.

Who is it on here that likes to spout how much richer the Dems are over the Reps when discussing who has the most money at the top?

He's facing a conundrum.

I don't know who it is but you can take it to the bank that the concerned wealthy Dim/Progs will take their dirty Trump tax savings to the bank. Lol!

I mean, taxes and budgets are a group effort. I've heard a lot of Republicans say that the military must be strengthened or else our security is at risk. So if that's really the case, are y'all going to hold bake sales to raise money for new aircraft carriers? See how silly that is...

If the wall is so important, why don't Republicans donate materials and labor to get it done? Huh? Why do you want other Americans to pay for it if YOU want it so badly?

Any takers?

You pay for abortions, we'll pay for adoption agencies.

Deal?

You're confused but I understand. The OP doesn't address any specific government programs, If you're a Dim/Prog I know you have great concern about the wealthy paying their fair share of taxes.

With that being said, if you personally show significant tax savings under Trump's tax plan I know your desire to help the middle class and poor Americans would implore you to remit your tax savings back to the government, right?

Everyone is a Conservative on tax day. Even the mentally ill leftist.

I'm keeping the money, I can get people like you to pay for government programs for the poor.

Herein lies the problem. Government's intent was never to forcibly take money from taxpayers to fund these types of programs. Government is not charity and should not be mistaken as such. Giving to help the downtrodden should be voluntary and not forced. American's have proven over decades they are the most charitable beings on the planet.

Oh I get the distinction between paying taxes vs funding a specific program, but I think the absurdity is the same. You can't expect Democrats to donate money to the government any more than you can expect Republicans to show up to the border to build the wall. It's not hypocritical to support something that you can't reasonably accomplish by yourself.

I've asked the same question to Democrats for about 45 years. Still waiting on an answer. I'll give you my answer when they give me theirs.

Dude that post was tongue in cheek. I'm not expecting conservatives to build the fricking wall by themselves. That would be absurd, just like the premise of this thread
