Tampa will not remove Confederate monument

Searched but got an error message. I know this is a couple of days old but I don't remember seeing a thread on it.
I can foresee the mural showing people flipping off the monument

No worries......I was also surprised that the libs didn't make a huge deal about it nationally. 1st I expected the commissioners to cave like everyone else did & when that didn't happen I expected the libs to go batshit and that didn't really happen either so I'm pretty confused at this point

Why are the ones in NO a big deal, but not the ones in TB? I guess it's good they have the attention span as a cockerspaniel on coke.

It's not about race, it's about transplants. I was at a soul food restaurant in Charlottesville and the owner notes that the statues aren't hurting anyone but the people moving here from up north are. They're the ones pushing out the local black community.

It's alot about race. The confederacy was largely about race, per their own words. Stop twisting history
