It's definitely their weakest special election this year and gotta be super-disappointing since it's the one they've had the best shot at actually winning. Participation trophy arguments are fair in that closer losers aren't reps any less than big losers, but I don't this bodes ill for 2018. The President's party almost always loses seats in the first mid-term of their presidency and depending on what happens with the AHCA and Trump's popularity next year, you could even see Ossoff himself come back and win this seat.
