And since you may not know me, you should be advised that I am one of the most Trump-critical conservative posters on this board, so don't make the mistake that I am a Trump worshiper.

I accept Trump because he is not Hillary - and I applaud every one of his agenda initiatives and cabinet appointments so far. I am truly embarrassed at his inability to make an intelligent sentence, and I suspect he is completely ignorant of history, as well as having absolutely no interest in philosophy. I love that he is completely antagonistic to 'political correctness.'

That being said, I have hated the propaganda coming out of the media for decades. Every time Obama - or any other DEM - made some confusing statement, they always looked for the very best interpretation that could be made. Then they went to the offender for an explanation and from that point on, any time a conservative pointed out the original absurd statement, they pointed to the clarification just as though it had been completely evident in the original pronouncement. Anyone who questioned the timeline of the 'correction' was labeled a racist - or whatever '-st' best fit the DEM narrative.

On the other hand - and it has been this way since Nixon - every statement made by a conservative has been subjected to a phrase-by-phrase attack from the DEM/MSM cabal. Any phrase, taken out of context, that could possibly be interpreted to represent some incomplete thought or less than perfect description was taken to be the full message of the pronouncement. Not attempt was made to allow the conservative to 'refine' or 'restate' his original words. No attempt was made to consider the whole pronouncement and analyze the phrase in the context of the whole.

That is the observation I have made of the media for the past 50 years. I have often stated that if Michael Jordon were covered like a conservative politician, the only thing ordinary people would know of him would be his turnovers and the free-throws he missed and the times he failed to deliver the game-winning shot.

"Fake News" is being construed as meaning the media just makes things up. Now that does occur, but is not nearly as debilitating as the way the cover/ignore the minutiae of a political situation. If it is a progressive leftist then they never attack the intent behind the words. If it is a conservative, the words are never the story - it is the 'intent' (as defined by the progressives) which gets the coverage and every conservative has to defend against the charge leveled by the likes of Pelosi.

This Swedish thing is a prime example. All the media would have had to do is ask
'what were you referring to?' = and then the explanation of inarticulate wording which referred to the report from FNC the night before concerning the overall effect on the crimes committed, and coarsening of their society, by muslin immigrants. This was the story - the MSM looked for the most convenient 'bad' interpretation they could manufacture. As they always do.

If you examine Trump's words you find no reference to any 'terrorist attack' = that was the "fake news" the MSM ran with - as they always do.

Now if you want to defend the effect of the muslim invasion on the overall Swedish society, feel free to do so.

and BTW - a cringe at every statement Trump makes. Not only because I prefer accurate prose, but also because I know that his style makes it so easy for the MSM/DEM cabal to effortlessly cast his every word into something sinister.

The point is that Christians commit many, many, many more crimes in the United States and Sweden than Muslims do....
