When I want to look for insight on the status of healthcare repeal, I go to one place: I want to hear from a millennial marketing major working for a telecom company in Seattle.

I wonder what Lonald Weiler-Sledge will say about the new bill during the lunch hour.

If Trump allows this to happen on his watch he needs to be roasted for it. Right now I see Rand Paul fighting this shite and Trump is in his corner for now.
Rand is totally full of it on this. He's posturing like Ted Cruz always does.
What Ryan and company come out the gate with is going to be very conservative. Anyone that has read his plan, as well as the GOP's recent Empowering Patients First Act, which he has referenced as the core, is going to be conservative as hell, and come under intense political fire.
The media will eviscerate it because it's supposedly going to a) reverse the requirement that men have to pay for OBGYN care, b) make seniors pay more, c) roll back Medicaid expansion, d) prevent people with pre existing conditions from gaming the system.
If anything, Special Interests are also going to come after it hard, because health insurance deductibility is going to be reduced immensely.
Punknugget couldn't tell you much of anything about this, but he also couldn't tell his arse from a hole in the ground. He's too stupid to realize that the Ryan plan will, above all, benefit people in his demographic the most (millennials).
What Rand is doing is creating chaos because he is selfish and wants to grandstand, much to the delight of the Left and the media. He will largely agree with the bill, because he even said as much in Price's confirmation hearing last month.
Ultimately, we need unity on this if we are going to get this done. Not the same old MSM or Breitbart clickbait bullshite that isn't based on substance.

You sound like some pub on TV last night with dark hair. Accept he didn't say the bill was all that groovy. He said nothing.
You talk like you read the thing. Are you in the secret cloak room? Why can't they use Rands?

My problem with Obamacare has never been with the idea of covering the truly poor or with covering people who have conditions that preclude insurance.
My problem with Obamacare and all other lefty solutions has been that they remake insurance for EVERYONE to do it.
It's like every other lefty idea. They SAY it's about the truly needy but when you look up, you discover that tons of people perfectly capable of buying their own insurance end up on the government subsidies.
I would happily support massive reform that included tort reform, deregulation, allowing catastrophic only plans etc etc and then created basically government insurance for truly indigent or sick.
And before you say it. Yes. I know it would still get abused but it would be light years better than what we've been doing.
As for people who CAN afford insurance but don't buy it, then get super sick. Yes. Sucks to be you. Make better decisions

If it isn't at least close to what it needs to be I hope Trump vetoes it

Remember yesterday when you said someone who smokes weed is worse than a rapist or murdered?
