Are you debating that women, as a group, don't think more emotionally than men?

No. You said that I'm liberal because I'm a woman. I said I was a woman when I was called conservative, too, so I don't think it's just that simple.

Women are more liberal in nature is what I said. Just meaning that as a group, they are. I have no idea why you felt more conservative earlier in your life, but it doesn't surprise me that women would change their minds. Or a woman would change her mind.

Maybe you felt less mothering at that point in your life. Maybe now your friends have persuaded you to take up your responsibilities as a young woman and support women's causes. I just don't know you that well.

Are you insinuating that men don't change their minds? Especially when presented with new information? And that's supposed to be a positive quality?

Nah, I just threw that part in to piss you off.

You are the one that changed your mind. I already stated that I have no idea why.

sparkinator, you're a fricking idiot. It's pretty obvious you're the one who's actually "riled up" and "emotional" in your exchange with 4cubbies. Just accept that liberals are everywhere, walking among you like regular people. I know this is a scary concept for you.

Well this is going to hell. Obviously, not everyone shifts conservative as they age.

My post was merely observing the group pattern.

Clearly, some people shift the opposite direction. But that's not what i was stressing

What in the hell are you blabbering about? How have any of my posts seemed emotional ? Have I jumped to any conclusions or just stated facts? As far as 'Scary Liberals', I realize they are all around me. And they don't scare me. I'm scared for what the lunatic ones are trying to do to the country though.

Young people who give up addressing the hard problems in America vote republican as they get older. It's the easy way out. Democrats see the bigger picture instead of seeking immediate gratification.

Well this seems be exact opposite of what I've witnessed.

I would Democrats care more about all of society... I associate Republicans with the middle class white family who sees their policy as the difference between making 40k and 50k... frick everyone else
