So the consensus here is that the Republicans should refuse to do the things that are inherent in their constitutionally mandated jobs, including working with the opposition to solve problems if at all possible, and simply behave as petulant ideologues. Right?
You mean like Obama who has not passed a budget in three years? He couldn't even pass one with a democrat Congress. You mean like Obama who in February rejected Bohner's offer to deal with the fiscal cliff before the political season?
The idea that it is republican who are unwilling to compromise is laughable. The record speaks for itself. What other President could not come to an agreement with Congress on a budget???
