This is what I have been saying for years. What they report is 'true' in that they do have 'sources' that are telling them that. They just don't care if their sources have an agenda other than the absolute truth.
Their biggest sin is in what the OP illustrates - the real news that is occurring which they absolutely ignore. I've used my Michael Jordon analogy many times, but it is just as if ESPN had covered only the free-throws missed, fouls committed, game-losing misses by Jordon - completely ignoring all the great talent he displayed every time on court, while at the same time reporting on all the rumors that 'sources' gave them about how MJ didn't tip and charged kids for autographs.
The media is nothing more than the house organ for the DEM party.
