if 100k mexicans decide to hit our border at one time, no fence would stop them. Hell, 10k could probably overwhelm a single point in the border.
its definitely a nightmare scenario. but its just that, a nightmare.
I doubt many people from liberia are thinking - let's go to nicaragua or costa rica for health care. Not to mention getting there would likely mean being routed through Europe or the US, which has much better health care.
And if they can afford the ticket, why would they go to those countries and not a place with world class health care.
It just doesn't make sense.

Mass migration from Mexico and Central America has already screwed up this country to such an extreme degree. I bet the ebola sufferers cost us less money then the economic damage from criminals and potential Democrat voters.
The General is right, but I bet he is mostly saying this to get some more money to play with and attention. Can't have AFRICOM getting more attention then SOUTHCOM.
