I have a sneaking suspicion that she could be controlled opposition and possible an attempt to derail a Trump or Desantis presidency in 2024.

She will no doubt be a popular candidate if she chooses to run in 2024. But it is strange timing for all of this and Fox News, who can not be trusted, has a huge boner for her now.

Isn't she from the WEF's young leaders program?

Edit: Just checked - yep.

Don't trust her.

Why do you think this?

She will have nearly zero supporters if she runs for POTUS, just like last time she ran for POTUS.

Go listen to the Rogan podcast with her. She says she will be an independent and has no interest in running in 2024.

I wouldn't be surprised if she teams up with Yang.

She was pretty adamant about not running in 2024, esp as an R.

I guess the two of them together will have around 38 combined supporters.

I'm happy that she's openly saying the right things, but wouldn't vote for her and will be keeping my eye on her.

Your skepticism is healthy.

Probably because there was no switch. She just said that she was leaving the Democratic Party. That doesn’t mean she switched to the GOP. She could be joining the Green Party, the Reform Party, or even the Libertarian Party for all we know. I doubt very seriously she becomes a Republican.

Much more that that. A Yang/Gabbard ticket will syphon of a lot of left of center Democrats that wouldn't vote Republican anyway. This could be a great development.

She's like me, a 'loose canon' in effect for those that imagine and work for the traditional "small Government" model of Constitutional governance. She knows/believes (as I) that given the practical, moral and current demographic dynamics that such is a pipe dream. As such there is no way that she will be a player in any truly 'Conservative' Movement. Though we all appreciate her honesty, style and...'persona'.

She's the left's version of Donald Trump
Yang is the left's version of Ron Paul

They are hated by their own side for the same reasons. She rails against the machine and speaks truth to power and Yang is generally right on some REAL technological threats to humanity and liberty which undermines the left's control.

The issue is the right is so insecure it clings to anyone AT ALL who pushes back against the left as their own.

To a degree, however, when it's bad enough, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
