I am sure Jesus would be in favor of letting Caesar take care of everyone. He would be happy letting Caesar confiscate money from the rich and giving 30% of it to the poor while casears organization keeps 70%. Also Jesus would be in favor of over 50% not contributing a dime to the system and expecting provisions from Caesar. (He did curse a fig tree for not bearing fruit) I am also sure Jesus would be in favor of abortion and giving Caesar authority to mandate what people need to have.

Yeah... sounds like Jesus would fit in well with the Demosocialists.

Why should Caesar just get to stomp around like a giant while the rest of us try not to get smushed under his big feet? Brutus is just as cute as Caesar, right? Brutus is just as smart as Caesar, people totally like Brutus just as much as they like Caesar, and when did it become okay for one person to be the boss of everybody because that's not what Rome is about! We should totally just STAB CAESAR!

Jesus had long hair and sandels, lived it the desert with a bunch of dudes, begged for a living, and preferred to hang out with the poor instead of the rich.

If any of you met Jesus today you'd lose your tiny fricking minds

And they'd be wrong.

Jesus Himself said that His Kingdom was not of this Earth. He was apolitical then, He'd be apolitical now.

Agreed. I would assume that a modern Jesus would spend far more time preaching to the hypocrites of the Christian faiths than he would debating fiscal policy or economic systems. That's not Jesus's job. Why would he concern himself with such worldly issues when there are people in need of salvation, people who need to see that Christianity isn't just a bunch of hypocrite televangelists. It would be very interesting to here what Jesus would say and who he would be talking to if he were to visit us in this era.

Jesus said," My kingdom is not of this world." He would not be involved in politics today just like he wasn't involved in the politics of his day.

Jesus wouldn't adhere to a political party. And her certainly wouldn't be anything close to a democrat.

Would be interesting to see Harry Reid and Nancy pelosi make Jesus take down the ten commandments from his front porch.

Jesus was a devout Jew. Considering what the beliefs were for a devout Jew during his time, and you will find that he would more likely have been conservative as opposed to a "modern" liberal.

Jesus would be against dependency on government and on receiving charity when one is able to work.

yep he was pretty much pro slavery, falling in line with the zeitgeist, so yea he would be similar to the leftists of today in that regard, since they believe people should be slaves of the state.

well done.
