So you wake up Wednesday morning and NK has nuked California.

Completely wipe NK off map with nukes. or more of a statigic move with ground troops.

Based on the range of NK missiles and the curvature of the earth, it's more likely to be Alaska or the Pacific Northwest.

This idea that a sizeable amount of people in Seoul will die in a full out war with North Korea is actually a myth. While North Korea does have hundreds of artillery pieces and dozens of rockets pointed towards the city, South Korea and US forces have counter artillery and air assets that will take out most of NK's artillery in the first hour of combat. Many fixed artillery pieces will be destroyed within minutes of shots fired. The only way that millions of South Koreans will die is if NK somehow figures out how to deploy their oversize weak nuclear devices and deliver them beyond the DMZ without being intercepted. This is about as likely as NK conducting a successful ICBM launch capable of hitting the US mainland.

You couldn't be more wrong. There are 10,000's of artillery pieces all pointed at Seoul and N Korea has the worlds largest stock pile. I won't even get into the chemical and biological weapons N Korea has. Moreover N Korea has the ability to put a nuclear weapon on a KN-08 and launch at S Korea. You have no idea what you are talking about.

AN NK Army coup supported by US Air power and backed by the Chinese is the likely strategy here. Seoul survives intact, Juche does not.
