You bring up a good point here. The thing is Richard Spencer is the real deal. He's a Nazi sympathizer who literally wants to racially purify the country. He denies that he wants to do it violently, but I don't believe him if he somehow achieved power.
But SJWs have been calling everyone who disagrees with them Nazis and racists that it has fallen on deaf ears, like yours. You hear people being called racist and Nazi so much that just from hearing about it you rightfully doubt that they are Nazis. The SJWs have created an environment by calling people like Milo "Nazi Sympathizers" that no one believes them anymore.
And he's a danger to the country now that no one believes accusations of being a racist and a Nazi thanks to the Left. They have done Richard Spencer a great service, when say 10 years ago he would have been shunned by all of society, now people are willing to lend him their ears and be influenced by him, all due to the toxic culture the Left has created.

He has a right to speak his opinion, it looks like you accept violence against people with strong conflicting or unpopular viewpoints.

I haven't studied this guy or what he espouses but what little of him I've seen or heard that I couldn't avoid concerns me. He seems like a new age KKK without the hood and no use of the N word (that I'm aware of anyway).
