Countries in which dumb people procreate with other dumb people tend to be dumber as a whole.

i doubt he was insinuating that the subsidy itself results in lack of intelligence, rather its WHO is getting the subsidy thats the problem.

Californians were polled during the 4th year of Arnold Schwarzenegger's term as Gov. They were asked "Who is the governor of Calif?"
One-third said "Don't know." They didn't even take a guess.

The Democrats believe that if you put too many people on an Island like Gaum, it will tip over!

Science Question...are government assistance programs which reward procreation financially and de-emphasize work in lieu of said assistance resulting in a genetic "dumbing down" of the populous?

No.
bullshite. Prior to the welfare state, if you were poor and stupid, you couldn't afford 10 kids. Now the government pays stupid people to breed, and they'll get that extra check for a "special needs" kid, so any educational salvation for this socio-genetic error will not be possible.

And, of course, when Honey Boo Boo needs open heart surgery, you and I will be paying for it. Okay, maybe just me. Mike Judge just put to film what many have predicted for centuries.

Gotta love those "compassionate" democrats.

So this is why Africa and other 3rd world countries dont have more than 1 or 2 kids... becuase they cant support them and they'd just starve to death.

Both parties are only parties of convenience and only defend fact when it supports, or appears to support, their respective agendas.

In 3rd world countries, the only power people have is increasing the size of their families. Larger families provide more safety, influence and productive capacity in 3rd world countries. And yes, I'd argue that this practice leads to the mass starvation, disease and genocide we see so much of today. Of course, Africa wasn't a prosperous place eroded by policy. It started out shitty and has stayed that way.

In America, people have five kids and demand that they be placed in special ed. Difference.

So youre saying america has been eroded by a policy handouts? With the top 1% owning 99%, it looks to be plenty prosperous to me. Those arent exactly hallmark numbers of wealth distribution.

Question: how to you deter procreation among the poor, but prevent starvation?

You can't in any great way. That said, when the populous knows that they will get an extra check per child to use as income, you are certainly lessening the consequence of having a child that you otherwise have no business having.

So the job of society is to see that the wealth is "fairly" distributed? There is no fairness in any society.

And I'm saying that we pay stupid people to have more kids. Are you saying we prosper because of this? And you might get better distribution if you stop paying stupid people to make more stupid people.

Lets try it like this: We are paying poor people who have kids so the kids dont starve since we are a developed nation and shouldnt have to deal with starvation within our borders.

The unintended result is some immoral people intentionally have kids to get more money.

Whats your solution to prevent starvation since this one isnt perfect?

Do you have so little faith in humanity that you'd think people would let their kids starve?

I'll betcha you take wean people from the gubment dollar, they'll find a way to buy food.
