Where are you getting this?

2016 NYT Annual Report

Now my understanding of this accounting is essentially zilch, but over the last 3 years, it looks they paid about 18 million a year in federal taxes and about 34 million a year across federal, state/local, and foreign taxes.

Then again I may be way off since it was pretty foreign to me.

I didn't care much about the tax returns, but the college transcript issue made even less sense. Although indivdual tax returns are under no obligation to be related to the public, at least there are many other reasons why financial information (public employee salaries, company financial disclosures, government finances, etc) are required to be released to the public.

I can't think of an instance where transcripts are required to be released to the public.

2005 was the year he came out of bankruptcy with his casinos. Most of his "income" was likely loan forgiveness as well as asset liquidation.

Not sure this works out well for Trump.

Seriously though- what did he have to gain by waiting so long to release them?

It's possible, but despite his terrible ideology, he's clearly a very intelligent person. So do you have evidence to back up your claim?

I mean the research suggests that people who are on the low end of the minimum qualifications struggle in their respective programs, especially if they are below the standards as your post would suggest. So we would expect a person who had to us AA, to not be very successful, let alone very successful.

I think they were lost under the Clinton's Whitewater papers. Just a guess, though.
