How many Chinese are there?

And you think GREEN energy is capable of handling that demand?

Again, y'all love some emojis. I guess it helps stress a point? Anyways, yes china has a huge population. Theyve also had a 1 child policy installed, and are on their way to having much cleaner energy. I don't see your point whatsoever.

umm also i guesss......

Dude, you're wasting your time.

CptBengal is widely known as the dumbest motherfricker on this board. A blade of grass has more sense than he does.

You will never live to see the day that green energy powers the majority of China.

Sorry, bud.

I think this is the issue we run across. We need to have plans for the future of the species. It's the most common sense thing ever. If you have a shred of empathy for upcoming ages then you know that "for your lifetime" is such a shallow and stupid promise. Theres a happy medium here.
Actually right now given the opposition to Nuclear power there isn't a happy medium.

They've been working on fusion power for 60 years at least, and they're at least that far away from making that work still.

Wind isnt efficient, although it's getting better. Solar isn't able to provide enough. Combined neither will ever be able to supply more than a small fraction of the load needed.

Wanting something better is nice. Recognizing your limitations in actually doing it is VITAL. If you don't understand why it didn't work, you can never make it work.

I understand why it didn't. Do you?

I love birds. But I also love breathing clean air.

What is the point of your post? We can have birds and also invest in clean energy.

Fixed

The technology to truly replace hydrocarbons as our main source of energy is not even remotely close.

Another "this lifetime" thing. Is this why some of you don't understand evolution too? This stuff is in macro scales, every small step now is for 100-10000 years in the future. We aren't working towards green so I can see china run on solar power, we're working on it now so that they can be getting closer in 3000 AD. Every scientific discovery or progression was on the back of someone else, I still cannot for the life of me understand why you think this is so bad that china is taking these steps.

Incredible coming from the religion of warmism. You really should ask yourself which side blackballs scientists, manipulates data, calls the science "settled", etc.

As I've said before, histrionic posits of man-made climate catastrophe, and the non-scientific fervor surrounding them, are indeed remindful of geocentrism.

Its not good enough yet. It needs failures and frick ups. It needs to be done and redone many times to get it right or get better. So wind and solar are getting better, but since they aren't perfect right now, frick it. Scrap it all. I understand how science progresses, do you?
