Huge national debt burden is already here.

Environment looks fine, power grid will be sustained by fossil fuels for your lifetime. Not new developments there either.

So what changed? Nothing

You do know that Hurricanes are in the Atlantic, Typhoons in the northern pacific, and cyclones in the southern hemisphere....right?

english please?

He is saying Capitalist vs. scientist.

However, he ignores that it all began as Global Warming. The narrative changed when they realized that the earth was actually cooling, so they changed it to Climate Change You know, like the climate does not change and has never changed. (We will ignore that when dinosaurs roamed the earth the temperatures were much warmer than they are now)
Now, they scream that 95% of scientists agree about Climate Change existing. Well, nobody denies that. What IS denied is that it is caused by humans....and there is no such agreement that humans are the cause of Climate Change. The earth has warmed and cooled over the course of its history...scientists DO agree on that.

Even so, a majority does not make something true, anyway. At one time 90% of all scientists agreed that the sun rotated around the earth. Just because a majority says something does not make it true. Either the sun rotates around the sun, or it odes not.

It does not, no matter how many scientists said it did at one point in history.

Lets keep the status quo (or in this case go backward) because everything will be okay for now.

I think this is the issue we run across. We need to have plans for the future of the species. It's the most common sense thing ever. If you have a shred of empathy for upcoming ages then you know that "for your lifetime" is such a shallow and stupid promise. Theres a happy medium here.

Or I suppose we could leave them no power grid at all, because with current technology (nuclear aside) that's the alternative.

How many Chinese are there?

And you think GREEN energy is capable of handling that demand?

fricking clowns.

We lost 1/5 of all our trees here on the east coast. 5 deaths. Savannah hasn't been hit like that in a long long time. Your comment couldn't be more unfounded and stupid. Nice emoji though Im sure that got you a few upvotes.

your posts read like the rantings from a homeless person wandering a downtown street. I half expect you to ask for a dollar at the end of each one.

I 'member when LA looked like that, and then they changed emissions. Now LA doesn't

YETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT, we still have devastating climate change

So either your ignorant arse posted a photo that can be corrected without affecting climate change, or the definition of climate change keeps evolving, well, just because

Except that they need it far more than we do. When was the last time a US city forced schools to close because the air pollution was so bad?

science does not operate on consensus. Politics, on the other hand, does....so that should tell you all you need to know about the AGW 97% talking point.
