From what we are seeing right now, the media is just butthurt to a level that we have never seen. No way they ever give President Elect Trump a opportunity to do the job he was voted in to do. They will pick and prod him at every angle. The interview yesterday was a perfect example

So these people, who are suppose to be professionals, wont stop. At what point do the leaders of some of these outlets start to step in? The credibility of some of the news outlets are already hurt by the way they handled the entire election process

At what point will the higher-ups step in and but a halt to the BS? Will it ever happen or will they be given free will to pound the President for the next 4 years.

Welcome to the next four years. Rather than reflecting on their own failures, the project them on Trump. They are not at fault. Trump is at fault (and by extension his supporters). They have finally remembered how to actually do investigative journalism. Too bad they are too late.

The media doesn't have a say so over The White House. Trump needs to start pulling media passes.

No not really, and most of them need to be purged.

Also Steven Colbert needs to be fired. I loved him on the Colbert Report, but he can't host the Late Show. You need someone less politically minded and biased than him. He shouldn't be paid for his political opinion like Oliver and Maher. He's there to provide an entertaining monologue, have a few sketches, and interview celebrities. His job is not to educate the public on who they should vote for.

And we need a mass boycott if that's the case. I refuse to watch or read anything unless it's Fox and even they stretch it at times.

Check out MSNBC. Save for two people on the entire network, they are spouting the same shite that ensured Trump's election.

I will be surprised if Megyn Kelly survives the next 4 years on Fox.

See, I can understand some of the Celebrities and other idiots continuing to do the same shite that helped Trump get elected. They looked down and ridiculed him which in turn did the same to his supporters. Most people are not smart enough to understand that they are still doing that which is just adding more people on the Trump train.

But these media people should be smart enough to see that and understand they are only making him stronger. Plus, they are a pure embarrassment to the profession they dedicate their life to.

We all know the rules. Run with an "R" after your name, and this is the treatment you will get, every time.

I,heard a female reporter nut up in asking Obama some serious questions today. It struck me as odd as it used to happen to GWB all the time.

Exactly. They're only confirming Trump supporters beliefs. I didn't want Trump in office and am still a bit dismayed that he's going to be our President, but I understand why he won. People had had enough of the liberal bullshite with people telling them just because they were white, cisgendered people that they were automatically privileged and by default consciously destroying other people's lives. Sorry but the Average Joe wasn't doing that and knew it was bullshite. So they nominated the exact antithesis to this mindset.

On top of that plenty of Hispanic and Asian voters saw through this too, knew it was wrong, and thus doubled the percentages of these communities than Romney did. Here's the guilty secret that the media will not admit: their bullshite of treating minorities as coddled idiots who couldn't get past the white man but through government intervention got Trump elected, and by minorities at that. People have had enough of it.

Yes, I'm not thrilled Trump is going to be our next President (didn't vote for Hillary either and would be pissed if she won), but they're only making the situation worse. The broken state of our media and then being totally full of shite and disconnected from the American people won Trump the election. Somehow they're not getting the point, so we should kick them out and bring in people who do get the point and bring back journalistic integrity to the industry.

I just knew they had to be either full of shite or stupid to be that cocky with the Rust Belt. I lived in Pennsylvania for over a year, and had all of it as a sales territory. I knew there was no way she had that state in the bag and that Trump could easily win Pittsburgh and would win everywhere else but Philadelphia and its suburbs.

I may have heard it from a total of 3 people on the left that Trump could win the election. That is so fricking flawed if you understood the middle of the country.

I am incredibly frustrated with the complacency of the media during this election. All they did was attack Trump, rig it as much as possible for Hillary, and ignored everything else outside of their liberal bubble. They were ignorant to the fact that they were dividing this country. So in the end everyone had enough of this system and either voted for Trump or stayed at home like me just waiting to watch the world burn.

As expected, from their point of view he is the enemy, they are never wrong and they must destroy him.

It was the same with Bush. Every little thing he did was blown up into Watergate proportions.

Meanwhile, Obama lies to the public about the ACA, allows diplomats to die, goes Fast and Furious and uses the IRS as his personal revenge squad and not a fricking peep from the media.

This time, however, I think doing so will gradually kill off what little remains of their credibility. People get their news from multiple sites on the internet now. You get all points of view and can make up your own mind. After a day of that, turning on the TV and tuning in to CNN, their bias becomes more glaring.
