So I got suckered into listening NPR and heard this gem

The artic had the hottest year on record since 1900. Greenland lost some crazy billion tons of ice. But the caveat they mentioned was, it wasn't as much as normal. Wanna guess why???? Because they got a ton of snow!!! So you mean nature does whatever it wants and we can't really predict it?
