Democratic voter suppression fails again

I thought Democrats had this one. Guess I should not have trusted the polls.

Nice to see an attempt to buy an election fail.

How long will Dems use fake polls to influence elections?
It's not working

I have a Lib friend who made a Facebook post to follow the results of this election.
I almost feel sorry for him. Almost.

This obsession with the polls was ridiculous on all sides. There would be like 4 a day during the election, and I mean from May onward. I never believed the polls, because I very rarely met an open Trump supporter during the primaries. Maybe one or two tops, and yet I read this board with them being all over the damn place and Trump won the primaries.
So after Trump won the primaries, I decided to completely ignore the polls. To openly support an orange game show host was publically embarassing, so it's clear that a large percentage (if not the literal majority) were closeted and only let their true opinion come out in the voting booth. In another words, public was lying about it. So the polls were meaningless. I briefly thought Trump wouldn't win after the Third Debate, but after Comey (please note I now don't think this made much of a difference) I really was pretty confident Trump was going to win despite the polls.

Then what was this?

Let's face it, even if you could see it coming, we were all in shock and awe the night he actually won. If you can see the invasion coming, you're still going to shocked when it happens.
Was I surprised when Trump won? No. Was I in a state of shock that I had confirmation we devolved to this degree as a society: yes. I was not surprised by Trump winning, but I was put into a state of shock by my worst fears being realized.
I actually made an address directly to you in grief that this was going to happen begging for you not to vote for Trump:
quote:
Sentrius, you know I like you, respect you, and think you are intelligent. And I beg you, Donald Trump is not the man to bring on this revolution.
Yes, if Hillary wins, she will be our worst President, but I think that the chickens have come home to roost and everyone hates her and rightfully distrusts her. I think even if she becomes president, the Clintons' reign on politics has come to an end. I fricking hate Hillary, but even though I'm not voting tomorrow, I'd rather her take power than a fascist like Donald Trump.
Donald Trump truly scares me. I'm not sure if he'll give up his power. He's an ideologue with a personality that is obsessed with power, and unlike Hillary, has the power to continue with it. The Clintons are fricked. The Trumps will only become more powerful. Please wade it out for a Romney, or a Huntsman, or a Paul. Trump is cancer. Seriously, look at this board and the fact that many of them have turned utterly fascist. You are an intelligent man, and I beg you to take my pleas seriously.
And here's an earlier post from the day:
quote:
I think they're around the same in being power hungry, but I think the Clintons are now utterly screwed. People now know that the worst thing Bill Clinton did wasn't getting head from an intern. Hillary is now seen as totally inept. The Clinton Foundation has been exposed for the racket it truly is. They don't have a descendent that is capable of holding onto the power they have. The democrats now resent her for crippling their party and stifling any star from rising in the party. Hillary is such a bad candidate that she can't beat a pussy grabber. The Clintons are screwed.
Donald has incredible momentum though, has vast popular support, and has the tools needed to continue with the vision to fulfill his ego.
I think that post speaks for itself that I thought Donald would likely win.

Democrats are literally trying to fake it until they make it.
