Double standard will be here for a while
Minorities are actually allowed to be more exclusive than whites. It's just not looked at in the same light because they aren't the majority.
Imagine if there was a white caucus or white entertainment television. Some campuses are even allowing black segregation at the request of the black student unions... just imagine the uproar today if there were even "white" student unions, much less if they asked for their own housing.

I'm not advocating for any white only groups by any means and I don't care if African Americans want to be exclusive at times, I just wish people would realize the hypocrisy in that one group is applauded for what another group would be condemned for.
