Just like that he changed the narrative and what the protests were for. Teams began to unite and take sides, the conversation has begun finally. It is no longer about police brutality and soon we will see these protests come to an end, because it has been accelerated. The players all have the platform now, time to get it off their chest and stand again. By not doing so proves they are only about themselves and like the rest of the fake rich people in this country.

You can hate the man all you want and disagree with his actions, but he does not care. He does not hide behind politics and says what the majority of Americans are thinking.

This is my favorite thing about him.

We live in a world where the media and left wing tech companies have created an environment where people who don't agree with their agenda have to live in fear of speaking their mind, even if they represent the majority.

Trump says to hell with that and says what he wants.

Channel 5 in Dallas, which I consider a left bias channel here, has a poll up and so far 54% do not support the players kneeling.

Now they are complaining about what he said. Evidently he struck a nerve.

The NFL is about to be arse f*cked.

Grab your popcorn, the dumb athletes that got no education while being pushed through universities are about to learn a lesson.

Yup, they have moved on to protesting Trump. Kapernicks message (which is based off a false premise) has been lost now.

Fans have now began to boo their own team before they even start the clock. Think about that.

The NFL is not going to gain more support from this weekend. They were already at a maximum that were buying into the fake outrage. Now they are just pissing off the indifferent ones that just want to watch a game and be entertained.

We need to go after the sponsors. That's what the left would do. After all, the league makes it's money off TV revenue which is largely funded by sponsors.
Just don't watch. If advertisers don't get eyes on their advertising they stop or demand lowered costs from broadcasters. Broadcasters won't pay as much to the NFL next round of negotiations.

and bars everywhere were full...again...like always.

Football is a religion in this country and people worship each sunday at the alter of the mighty NFL.

Trump he is just a guy and a the NFL will be around long after he is gone.

You ignorant cuck

How many people fit in a bar? How does the viewing on that one big screen alter the ratings of the thousands of TVs turned off?

The protests were already petering out. He decided to reignite them.

Wait a sec. You actually think crowd size at the game and viewership tv numbers will go up?

Absolutely no one that supports the protesters/players who has never been to a game or watched a game on tv is now all of a sudden going to say "I'm buying a $100 ticket and spending another $100 to have a good time while I'm at the game to show my support". However, the people who have bought tickets over the years and actually supported the team, I look for many of them to take a walk with many not coming back any time too soon.

Yep, Trump basically intensified the protests and ensured they'll continue. Even if the kneeling wasn't truly dying off, media coverage was.

yeah, he is just a guy that will be listed in history books until the end of the USA as a country. He is probably doing better than the NFL.

Soccer is the sport of the world and Trump is the leader of the free world.
