If you are not a Homeland viewer, you should be. Not only is the show spectacular (IMHI), but they have nailed current events that are unfolding before our eyes in the IC arena.

The parallels in this show, regarding the CIA, have become spot on throughout 6 season paired with revelations/ publishings of Wikileaks, Snowden and others.

The show nails the current state of the CIA with constant backstabbing, power grabs, foreign government "boogeymans", bait and switch, and down right deceit from the IC in stirring up issues throughout the world for power and control over the American people.

I've slowly come around to many libertarian views, and becoming an isolationist paired with abolishing many government agencies has become a must. It's just weird how the show (with a "fictional" narrative) has brought many of these tactics to light.

I'm not going to go into any spoilers, but the show has hit the nail on the hammer and finds the right balance between entertainment and wanting to overthrow the government. I know the show comes from an original series from Israel, but anyone know the political leaning of the producer? It's like the guy has an in with people in the know.

I quit watching around the time they were stealing and switching her meds and she was banging the jihad college kid.

Season 1 was great.

I watched initially but stopped when the CIA continued to employ a woman with severe mental issues.

You are correct and I have commented on these same parallels in other threads.

Didn't watch last night's episode, but they need to stop with the baby bull shite, and make Quinn badass again.

Carrie sucks.

No it hasn't. It's horrible this year. It's almost painful to watch.

This show has made the complete opposite of a comeback. A lot of people who endured the last few seasons have completely stopped watching during this season as it continues to go off the rails.

What a terrible show. Season 1 was great, and Season 2 wasn't bad.

I agree with most of the consensus that seasons 3-5 were pretty much meh, but season 6 has been Johnny on the spot with our current IC state of affairs. And knowing that this season was probably filmed 6-8 months ago, it's almost downright scary nailing current events like it is right now, just with a different boogeyman, but still the same premis.

I too am ready for Quinn to regain his former glory.

I agree. I made it through 5 episodes and lost interest this season. Its turned into an idealistic SJW caricature of itself.

I wish they would have killed him off. His character tourtures me more than Carey now and that's saying a lot. I did miss the past 2 weeks so maybe I misse something big Idk.
