I would have to disagree ... it is possible to make good decisions, be independent and self-sufficient, and live and raise a family.... without being some "victim" who complains about government all the while suckling on the G Teat.


It is easily possible.

My Dad came up with a thought that I could totally rally behind. No politician should be allowed to make more than twice the average income of the area they represent.
I think we could and should apply this to C.E.O.'s as well.

Have to disagree that the government is a reflection of the electorate.

Imo, they are a reflection of the people who funded their election to office and pulls their strings and buys their votes on whatever issue needs buying at a particular time.

The money behind the politicians is what runs the country. Not the electorate and not the actual politicians.
