Haven't read the thread. But when it comes to voting rights, I just want to ensure one thing:
THE ELIMINATION OF VOTER FRAUD.
This is America. Every dumbass, no matter how much of a dumbass they are, should have the right to vote, as long as they are an American citizen who meet all of the legal requirements.
HOWEVER, none of these dumbasses should be voting more than once. Let's be honest; the overwhelming majority of voter fraud is being perpetrated by Democrat Party constituents. That's why Dems always try to change the subject when it comes to the matter of voter fraud. They demagogue the issue, and try to make it about minorities being disadvantaged, etc. That's bullshite, of course, but it's what liberals do when they are on the wrong side of an issue.
To the extent possible, eliminate voter fraud. Other than that, let all people who meet the legal requirements vote. If that means that we are doomed to seeing a succession of boobs like Obama getting elected in the future, then so be it. America can simply choose the hand basket in which they will journey to Hell.

There should be a 5 question civics test on each ballot. 200 possible question in the pool. Those questions would come from the pool of questions used on the tests to gain citizenship to this country.
The value of your vote depends on the number of answers you got correct. 1 right= 20% of a vote, 2 right = 40%...and so on.
This way, everyone gets to vote, but you get punished for being an ignorant voter.
