You do have to put up with a lot of
Howling
Barking at bugs at 4am
Digging (especially your vegetable garden a week or two before harvest)
Eating everything if you let them
Gas
Poop land mines all over the back yard (I have a pack, not just 1)
All mine are rescues as they like to run 3 - 4 hours a day.

I had a fantastic day. Built one of those big wooden swing sets with the fort on top for my granddaughter.
Ate 2 pieces of key lime pie for breakfast about 3:30 in the afternoon. And had a ribeye and 3 fried eggs for dinner.
Yup, damn good day.
