Absolutely expected! He will ALWAYS let his personal biases get in the way of doing what's right.

Why not? He's got nothing to gain from voting for him. Might as well score points with his lib voter base. Sessions will be confirmed regardless.

Expected. He will get confirmed anyway. I'm pretty sure Schumer only took this bold stance once he was assured that the votes were there to get his old buddy through the nomination process.

Who is the "neocon" you're referring to in the case of Schumer voting against Sessions?

These Democrat dipshits are creating a war they really don't want because they can't win.

No one trusts these damned hacks anymore.

I think they also had a sign throwing granny off the cliff if they dismantle ObamaCare.

"The attorney general of the United States has a sacred obligation to enforce our laws and uphold the constitution," Schumer said in his Thursday statement. "The law gives a voice to the voiceless, it protects the oppressed from the powerful, and it defends the rights of all people, regardless of gender, sexuality, or religion. ... Every right — freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the freedom to vote, or any other enshrined in our Constitution or the law — must be protected for every American."

Where was this sentiment during the Holder/Lynch years? Those were two of the worst AGs in the history of this country.
