Not that I would advocate this as republicans are currently in power, but the best way to turn the left against mass migration from Muslim regions would be to offer Muslims a better incentive than the left insuring a future republican vote.
If Muslims were polled as voting 60% in favor of the other party Dems would quickly lose interest in a mass influx of them.
Obviously this won't happen, just wanted to point out my opinion that it's just opportunity politics in claiming moral high ground.

That's quite a leap you took there. No one in this thread has talked about killing all Muslims, just not letting them into the country.
